For the week ending September 9, twelve auction were archived to the Rare Book Hub Transaction Database, 9 in U.S. dollars, 2 in euros, and one in British pounds. Sales were light, just $1,214,911 as 3,839 lots were offered, 3,286 sold, for a sales rate of 85.6%. The average lot was a modest $370. This is the calm before the storm, the end of summer and the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. Look for larger numbers beginning next week.
