Auction Update Review
Was there a vacation? It's difficult to remember.
It was a quiet week. No reported sales reached a million dollars and only a single sale saw total proceeds exceed 100% of the total of the high estimates. What's interesting is that the sales relentlessly continue. Not so long ago there were long periods of quiet. In this era an open date on the auction calander is an opportunity.
1 auction saw total sales exceed 100% of the high estimates of all lots offered in the sale:
Bruun Rasmussen. Modern and Contemporary Prints on January 7th: 105.22%
3 sales saw at least 80% of their lots sell:
Heritage Auctions. Comics - Internet bidstart 12/29 on January 5th: 99.81%
Heritage Auctions. Movie Posters - Internet Bidstart 12/29 on January 5th: 94.35%
Bruun Rasmussen. Modern and Contemporary Prints on January 7th: 93.75%
