Strength in the Rooms
For the week ending Saturday October 5th 24 auctions were archived to the AED; 12 denominated in US dollars, 1 in Mexican pesos, 4 in British pounds, and 7 in euros. Eight thousand three hundred and ninety-three lots were offered for a 73% success rate. Turnover was $15,959,665.
Three sales, two of them photographs, saw their totals reach the million dollar level:
