If you haven’t already penetrated into the eBay world now is the time. It is great fun. And bookmark the ongoing sales of both DeWolfe and Wood as well as Stephen A. Goldman Historical Newspapers. Their daily listings are interesting.
One final word: I’m still learning about eBay. I’ve bought seven items over the past five weeks. There certainly is plenty of material for sale so a shifting/sorting/ evaluation program such as ours, eBay’s or others is a requirement. It is way too much work otherwise. But is it worth it when you approach it in an efficient manner? Absolutely. It took DeWolfe & Wood three months to decide eBay would be a selling success for them and it took Steve Goldman two months to decide eBay would be an important part of Historical Newspapers’ selling strategy. It took me only two days to see its strength as a buying tool. What we all agree on is that it works. So whether you are a buyer, a seller or both you aren’t doing your job unless you understand this medium.
