Crime and the Law from the Lawbook Exchange

Albert Sherbut was a wanted man in 1916.

Albert Sherbut was a wanted man in 1916.

Anti-immigration sentiment is nothing new. Item 38 consists of four century-old pamphlets: General Immigration Statistics; Eugenics, Ethics and Immigration; Brief in Favor of the Illiteracy Test; and The Future of American Ideals. These were publications by the Immigration Restriction League, but rather than being concerned with just immigration from south of the border, they were concerned with people from anyplace other than England and Northern Europe. $350.
