| Description | Eldred's Auction Gallery is something of a tradition in New England, dating back to the 1950s. It is located in East Dennis, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. It draws much of its material from this region, where healthy financial balance sheets and accompanying good taste seem almost a prerequisite to survive. Eldred's is not particularly a book auction, listing as specialties fine art, antiques, decorative arts including Americana, marine art, American and European paintings and sculpture, decoys, antique tools, and collectibles. Nonetheless, many items on paper make their way through the auction and you will find them in the database under this source. |
