Since its establishment it has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading specialist auction houses under the directorship of Fonsie Mealy and since 2005 with his son George F Mealy. The business has become recognised both nationally and internationally as the premier specialists in Irish historical artefacts, rare books, fine art, paintings, furniture, silver, sporting memorabilia, manuscripts and maps.     Mealys are recognised worldwide throughout all sectors of the fine art, antiques, rare books and collectors market, with several of its departments leaders in their fields.
