Description | Librairie Loeb-Larocque was founded in 1958 by Louis Loeb-Larocque. Mr. Laroque arrived in France from Germany after the war, opening a bookshop first in Monaco, and shortly thereafter moving to the current location in Paris. The firm's specialty was maps and atlases and books about travel. After Mr. Loeb-Laroque died in 1996, management of the firm was taken on by his daughter, Beatrice Loeb-Laroque. Along with traditional bookselling, she conducts auctions at Paris' Hotel Drouot. These auctions also specialize in maps, atlases, and books related to travel. |
