Description A comprehensive bibliography of maps, guide books, magazine articles, fiction, poetry, early engravings, and newspaper references to the White Mountains of New Hampshire published for The Appalachian Mountain Club by Houghton Mifflin Company, the Riverside Press Cambridge.
Scope of Text Two hundred and eight-five books and more than 300 magazine references are noted. One hundred and fifty poems, 50 newspapers that published in the towns of the White Mountains, 36 maps and an imperfect list of engravings from diverse sources - all published on or before 1911.
