Description This is a bibliography of American local history. It was printed in 1846 and reflects sources available to the author up until that date. It includes about 1,000 sources, is today rarely quoted, but neverthless provides a priceless perspective on interest in local American history as expressed in the large number of sources that already existed at that early date.
