Source Title The Library of Dr. Frank P. O'Brien [Part Three]
Description The Library of Dr. Frank P. O'Brien [Part Three]. The West and the Wilderness including many of the great Overland Narratives, Rare and Important Maps, Rare Prints and Views, The Original Ms. Surveys of Washington's Dismal Swamp Lands, 1763 and Swagerty's Foundation Ms. Surveys of Tennessee, 1795
Scope of Text Foreword

The collection here listed is a remarkable library of important, famous and rare historical material relating to the Far West, the Early West, and the Wilderness.
It is crowded with celebrated books, tracts, maps and prints that are long sought without avail. Practically every title will soon be extremely difficult or else entirely impossible to obtain.
Swagerty's original manuscript surveys of the "Territory South of Ohio" (now Tennessee) are, of course, a unique historical discovery of the utmost interest and importance.
