Full Speed Ahead

For the week ending Saturday April 20th 19 auctions were archived to the AED; 9 in US dollars, 4 in British pounds and 6 in euros.  Turnover for the week was $10,218,987 as 5,278 lots were offered and 4,310 sold for an 82% success rate.

 

Three sales saw their total sales reach a million dollars:

The brisk pace of auctions continues even as the percentage of lots sold is historically high.  Prices are coming down a bit but unsold stock, library de-accessions and private collections are changing hands in high volume.  It’s a healthy market.
