About Us Dargate Auction Galleries is a full-service auction house dedicated to meeting the needs and expectations of both our consignors as well as our buyers. Over the years, Dargate has gained a solid reputation in the fine arts community. Dargate Galleries in Pittsburgh has been in the antique and fine arts business over twenty years. In the spring of 2002, Paul Novosel and Dan Zivko purchased the gallery from Larry and Carol Farley, who had developed the gallery into a successful auction house after acquiring the business from the original owner, Edward Darnell, in 1989.
