About Us | Bolaffi, collections since 1890. Bolaffi's history started that year, when a very young Alberto Bolaffi, born into an important family of precious stone and ostrich feather merchants, decided to abandon the family tradition with pioneering spirit to embark on the business of philately. His devotion was continued with legendary passion by his son Giulio and then with brave initiative by his grandson Alberto, at the helm of the company today while the fourth generation is preparing to bring renewed ingenuity to the company business. Faithful to the motto "History for us is a collector's item", Bolaffi in the meantime became a limited-liability company and today in addition to all sectors of stamp-collecting, encompasses the entire sphere of collections in Italy and worldwide. With a staff of over one hundred, we still firmly believe in developing the most pleasant way of spending one's leisure time in direct contact with the objects and tokens that have made the history of mankind. |
