Book Clubs and Events a new page, is now linked throughout the site. On the home page, on the menu under the sign-in box [but no sign-in required], there's now the link Shows, Clubs, other. On the linked page Book Clubs and Events is first on the alphabetical list.

Initially AE is providing information on each club, links to all upcoming identified events and further links to each club, their websites and contacts.

At this point, this feature is a Beta. Additional features will be incorporated over the next few months and thereafter as the need arises.

Book Clubs are one of the traditional ways that interest in and the spirit of book collecting have been transmitted from generation to generation. Such clubs continue to be strong but the membership is noticeably aging.

The addition of clubs to the complex mix of book, manuscript and ephemera communities, we support and write about, is an effort to support these important endeavors.
