Rare Book Hub: Our Services for 2026

In the collectible paper field, numbers matter

In the collectible paper field, numbers matter

Our rates for 2026-27 remain the same while our services are increasing:

Our Transactions+ has grown during 2025. A year ago, we were offering 14,600,113 full text records. As of today, 12/26/25, we are providing 15,753,679. Roughly 72% of our new records are drawn from the 250 active auction houses whose sales were posted in our Upcoming Auctions search.  The balance has been drawn from past auctions. While our numbers are up, we are also committed to respond to all searches within 1 second. Expect our three billion words to respond to your searches instantly.

For those who sell in the traditional way, we’ve added eCatalogues under the News and Reports heading on our main toolbar. It’s a free service for paid members. When you post your first, you’ll immediately notice you are in the No. 1 position. If you are offering interesting material at attractive prices, you have two opportunities: to make outright sales and to build your mailing list. The folks who are following the auctions are the market’s most intent acquirers.

Of course, collectors and libraries can post as well! If you have questions, simply ask!

During 2026 we’ll continue to add enhancements for Categories, that seek to define the many ways to see the world of collectible paper. This is our response to collectors and collecting institutions who benefit by seeing their collecting focus separate from the many categories of material that compose our braided rope of collecting subjects.

While the world has gone mad over social media, we are committed to reality. Our building blocks are facts.  Think of Transactions+ as an unabridged dictionary. Categories help specialists.
