This month we review 9 new bookseller catalogues. Variety is the watchword here. However, one of the most popular of collecting fields, travel and exploration, does have multiple entrants, with British booksellers Peter Harrington and Shapero Rare Books focused on this field.
Various aspects of Americana make their appearances. Yesterday's Muse Books targets Colonial Americana. The William Reese Company offers American views and cartography. Back of Beyond Books specializes in books related to the American Southwest, though they reach well beyond this time with sections on literature and poetry, mountaineering, natural history, and more.
Antiquates Fine and Rare Books has about as tightly focused a subject as you will find – English verse from 1800-1810. The Veatchs Arts of the Book are focused on books as art. Antiquariat Michael Kuhn targets historic scientific works. Oslo Rare Books features 13 books of incunabula (and one slightly newer title).
