This month we have 18 new catalogues from the world of books and paper to review. Some are highly specific; others offer a wide range of material. Lorne Bair Rare Books offers material from the far left and far right of the political spectrum. Mark Selvaggio Books and Ephemera has over 500 items relating specifically to world's fairs. James Cummins Bookseller features the Bible, early books, and fine bindings. Libreria de Antono focuses in on Spain and Latin America.

Gert Jan Bestebreurtje Rare Books offers material about Africa. Gene Baade Books on the West comes a little closer to home with a new selection of books concerning western America. The George S. MacManus Company focuses on America's terrible internal battle, the Civil War, while the William Reese Company has material related to the U.S. Navy. The Wayfarer's Bookshop offers travel books and photographs, B & L Rootenberg Fine & Rare Books science, Americana, literature and more.

Maps and other cartographic items have become highly popular among collectors in recent years, and you will find great selections offered by Donald Heald Rare Books, Daniel Crouch Rare Books, and Boston Rare Maps. The latter also offers a nice selection of broadsides. The Antiquariaat Forum and Asher Rare Books offer 25 special items, and Peter Harrington has another selection of spectacular books. Antiquariat Banzhaf and Antiquariat Kuhn present some interesting material they brought to the New York book fair. The Raab Collection offers important historical material, most of it signed, while Kenneth Karmiole, Bookseller, has a little bit of everything.
