Over the years there have been many reports of positive outcomes at this and other fairs. But to experience the magic you have to be there. Once there you’ll buy a book or two, meet old friends and some new dealers and go home reinforced in the knowledge that in your passion for books you are not alone. On the tube over you may be hard pressed to identify any book collectors but in the show they will be stacked waist high and on the way home be carrying a bag or two and radiating the collector’s glow. For bibliophiles it’s one of the things that make life exciting.
This is of course not the only book fair on the horizon. Here is a link to other fairs.
