Fourteen new catalogues are reviewed this month.


This month we are reviewing 14 new bookseller catalogues. The American West is featured in catalogues from Gene Baade's Books on the West and the Argonaut Book Shop, while the William Reese Company offers the American West illustrated. David Lesser Antiquarian Books has rare Americana.

J & J Lubrano Music Antiquarians has musical works available. Martayan Lan features travel, science, arts and humanities. David Schulson Autographs presents signed material. The Columbia Trading Company is focused on nautical works. Jonathan Potter Limited presents historic maps. James Pepper Rare Books has a collection of literature and film related material.

The Book Collector has a catalogue devoted to just one item - a collection of letters between chess masters. Sotheran's offers the latest edition of its long-running series of "Piccadilly Notes." Samuel Gedge Ltd. offers antique books and ephemera, while Peter Harrington presents numerous important works.
