Item 80 is a more recent item, a 1993 postal first day issue depicting an American flag. It includes sketches and signatures by two notable cartoonists, Charles Schultz of Peanuts, and Bill Keane of the Family Circus. Keane has drawn a young girl reciting, "and to the republic for witches dance." Schultz has drawn Snoopy sleeping on top of the first day issue bar. $975.

Enrico Caruso was the first great star of recorded music, sort of the Elvis Presley of his day. Of course, his music was very different, he being an operatic tenor. In 1907, he recorded the first million seller, and he continued to create extraordinarily popular recordings until his death at only 48 in 1921. Item 17 is a self-portrait drawn by Caruso and signed in London in 1904. The profile of Caruso shows that his artistic talents went beyond just singing. $2,850.
