Item 32 is A concise treatise on eccentric turning...Illustrated by figures and eccentric patterns, by Nathaniel Brown Engleheart, published in 1852. This isn't “eccentric” in the way we most often use the word, as meaning mentally off-center, but off-center in terms of circular drawings. This book contains numerous drawings of stunning eccentric patterns, either ellipses or secondary circles that begin somewhere other than the center of the primary circle. The patterns can be beautiful, reminiscent of those images you (or you children) used to create with spirographs when you/they were young. €900 (US $1,186).

Item 63 is Luminaire, Bronze, Bois, Fer (lighting, bronze, wood, iron), the creation of one J.E. Cazes. It contains 48 leaves of art nouveau watercolor designs for lamps - ceiling, wall, and standing. These elegant drawings show skill and attention to detail. It looks as if the drawings were created for publication, although Antiquariat Banzhaf was unable to locate any publication in which they were used. The collection was created in Vincennes around 1912, displaying the artistic possibilities made available by the recent invention of the electric light. €6,000 (US $7,912).
