This past week the reported sales
were mostly battlefield skirmishes.
Fourteen sales, nine of them sections of Galeria Bessange’s five-day
extravaganza, raised $6,440,338 against the aggregate high estimate of $7,662,317. Galeria Bessenge alone raised $3,554,688.
Altogether 5,018 lots were offered
and 3,016 sold.
