New catalogues up for review.

This has been a busy month for book catalogue writers. We have 20 new ones up for review. Yeoman's in the Fork has issued their first catalogue. Simon Beattie Antiquarian Books and Music has issued an oversized and most unusual catalogue. The Arader Galleries are syndicating images from Gould's Hummingbirds (the deadline is almost upon us).

Bernard J. Shapero Rare Books is offering a selection of travel books. The Voyager Press has travel books and archives. If you prefer to travel by sea, the Columbia Trading Company offers nautical books. Or, you can read about shipwrecks, piracy, and maritime history from Gert Jan Bestebreurtje Rare Books.

David Lesser Antiquarian Books has a new collection of rare Americana. Back of Beyond Books is focused on the American West, while Marc Selvaggio Books and Ephemera features issues relating to water in the American West. The William Reese Company presents American historical manuscripts, while The Raab Collection features manuscripts and engravings from the life and times of George Washington.

Antiquarian works from the 16th-19th century are the focus of Librairie Thomas-Scheler. Early manuscripts, leaves and books are offered by Phillip J. Pirages Books and Manuscripts. Knuf Rare Books also has a collection of old and rare material, while the Veatchs Arts of the Book has a group of new acquisitions to share. David Schuslon Autographs offers a winter sale, while James Pepper Rare Books has material related to film and literature.

Finally, we have two joint efforts this month. James Cummins Bookseller and the William Reese Company have combined to present the Charles Cramer archive, an amazing collection of early 19th century American and European material collected by this Russian diplomat. Lorne Bair Rare Books and Between the Covers have joined to offer a catalogue of books from the library of artist/photographer Ben Shahn and his wife Bernarda Shahn.
