Description New England Auctions was formed in the early 1980s under the name Oinonen Book Auctions. Later, until 2009, it was known as New England Book Auctions. It is the only auction house in New England dedicated to selling rare books and related material. They conduct 24 auctions annually. New England Auctions is located in Sunderland in western Massachusetts, conducting sales from the historic Hotel Northampton in Northampton.

In 2009, new ownership purchased the firm and the name was changed to New England Auctions. All listings prior to this name change are found in this database under the name New England Book Auctions.
