13 New Catalogues Reviewed This Month

Thirteen new catalogues are under review.


This month we review 13 new bookseller catalogues. They're a varied lot. Maggs Bros. and the William Reese Co. are focused on voyages and travel. Helen R. Kahn and Associates offer books pertaining to North America. David M. Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books has American pamphlets, while Gene W. Baade Books on the West looks at the American Southwest, and Billy the Kid in particular.

Lorne Bair Rare Books offers titles primarily from a leftist point of view. Mark Selvaggio, Bookseller, has ephemera this month, some of it quite unusual. The Ten Pound Island Book Co. offers maritime titles, Aleph-Bet Books presents children's books, Alexander Rare Books has literary firsts and poetry, Oak Knoll "books about books." James Pepper Rare Books is focused on mystery, science fiction, film and literature, while Thomas Cullen, Rockland Bookman has a widely varied mix of books and manuscripts.
