Thirteen New Bookseller Catalogues Reviewed This Month

13 new catalogues.

There are 13 new bookseller catalogues reviewed in this month's edition of Rare Book Monthly. There is a wide variety of material offered, and some of the presentations are as spectacular as the books. The 19th Century Rare Book & Photograph Shop offers a magnificent catalogue of magnificent books and photographs. The William Reese Company has a catalogue of Americana celebrating Mr. Reese's 40 years as a bookseller. Peter Harrington has a major catalogue devoted to modern literature. Hordern House has put together an outstanding catalogue of curiosity and discovery.

 

Whitmore Rare Books is focused on fine literature. Antiquates Fine and Rare Books targets works from the 16th and 17th century. Joe Rubinfine has a selection of American historical autographs while David M. Lesser Fine Antiquarian Books features American pamphlets and broadsides. Forest Books presents a miscellany, Erasmushaus a variety of material.

 

Yesterday's Muse Books is focused on books about seashells and shell collecting. Aleph-Bet Books offers a large selection of children's and illustrated books. August Laube Antiquariat features a group of beautiful, antiquarian Dutch prints.
