11 New Catalogues Reviewed

- by Michael Stillman

11 new catalogues reviewed this month.

For July, we review 11 new bookseller catalogues in AE Monthly. Shapero Rare Books brings us back to the beginning of time, at least in terms of printing, with 75 incunables. Libreria Antiquaria Rappaport also goes way back to offer early continental books. Blackwell's Rare Books presents both antiquarian and modern books.

There are three catalogues out this month with autographed material. The Raab Collection and Joe Rubinfine are focused on American signed documents, while David Schulson Autographs offers a mix of American and European signed material.

The William Reese Company has a selection of American views. The Veatchs Arts of the Book features fine examples of the book arts. Hordern House is presenting a fabulous collection of Australiana put together over many years by Robert Edwards. Burkhard Sülzen has a collection of European posters, while Peter Harrington offers books displayed at the recent London Book Fair.
